- Dadasaheb PhalkeHe was a pioneering Indian Filmmaker, hailed as the "Father of Indian cinema". His debut film, Raja Harishchandra, released in 1913, was India's first full-length feature film. Over 19 years, he directed 95 feature films and 27 short films. The most prestigious Award; Dadasaheb Phalke Award says everything about his contribution.

Prof. Dr. Vishwanath Karad
Founder of MAEER's MIT
Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, the visionary founder of MAEER's MIT, established the Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT-WPU) in 1983, promoting 'Value-based Universal Education' for students' holistic growth. He was awarded the UNESCO Chair for Human Rights, Democracy, Peace, and Tolerance in 1998.

A graduate in engineering, a postgraduate in management from Cardiff U.K, and an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, USA. Shri. Rahul Karad is committed to empowering the nation through empowering its youth to reach their true potential via holistic and value-based education.

Vice Chancellor
Dr. R. M. Chitnis is associated with the noble field of education for more than 3 decades and has contributed significantly to every organisation's growth that he worked for. He has been a pioneer of various important activities at MIT WPU like International Summer Schools, the Business Simulation Programme for management students, intercollegiate festivals such as Enthusia and Sports Fiesta, and Short-term Certificate Courses like Business English to name a few.
Mr. Ganesh B Pokale
Registrar
Mr. Ganesh. B. Pokale has a comprehensive understanding of the nuances of higher education and is skilled in academic administration. His interest areas are outcome-based education, process design & development, process excellence, academic credit, learning technology, and assessments to address high-order learning skills. He has also been instrumental in designing and implementing university ERP and learning management systems for academic quality assurance. He is an alumnus of COEP (College of Engineering Pune) and has a versatile experience in both academia and industry. His exposure to the international environment has further reformed his understanding of global best practices, trends, and technologies. Currently, he serves as the Registrar at MIT-World Peace University. He has a strong focus on service orientation while being a technology drive administrator.

With a PhD in Cultural Studies from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, she has extensive experience in the media industry. Indian Cinema, Film Studies, Gender and Cinema, Regional Cinema are her research areas
